Mushroom Sauce
Serves 4
100g small button mushrooms, sliced
100ml beef stock
50g butter
50g flour
350-400ml milk
METHOD
- Melt butter in pan, then fry mushrooms until well cooked.
- Stir in flour and cook further for 2 minutes
- Slowly pour in stock and milk whilst stirring constantly until all combined (which will take approximately 5 minutes). Add more milk (if needed) to desired consistency.
- Use salt and pepper to taste.
